All our address plaques and property signs are made from the highest quality materials.

Acrylic Signs

Our acrylic plaques are made from UV stable acrylics. The black and white acrylics, such as in our very popular Silhouette Address Plaque have a matte surface which is ideal for exterior applications as the matte surface doesn’t show marks easily, and doesn’t get scratched easily when you do clean it. The metallic acrylic signs, such as our Metallic Address Plaques are made from high quality two-tone acrylics from Rowmark. The top metallic layer gets engraved away to enable highly detailed images. This material is specifically made for exterior signage.

Wooden Signs

Our wooden signs are made from either live edge Australian hardwoods in the case of the Exterior Live Edge Property Sign, or from Merbau timber, as in the case of our Wooden Address Sign and our Exterior Home Signs. Merbau timber is a hardwood that is ideally suited for exterior applications as it is naturally both weather and termite rersistant. All exterior wooden signs are also coated with 4 coats of Marine grade External varnish.

Attachment

To attach our signs, most of them have the option of either double sided tape or standoffs.

Double Sided Tape

The double sided tape is an external grade tape which is suitable to stick onto a variety of surfaces as long as the surface is not peeling etc. Simply peel off the backing and firmly press the sign onto the surface for 30 – 60 seconds.

Standoffs

The standoffs are also exterior quality as they are aluminium standoffs. The standoffs lift the sign off the wall a bit and gives it a nice and elegant look. Please note that the design of most of the signs change slightly between the standoffs option and the other attachment options. Wall plugs and screws are also provided with the standoffs.
