A beautiful live edge property sign for your home, acreage or farm.
These signs are made from thick live edge slabs of either Bloodwood or Ironbark.
The wood has been sanded smooth and will have the design laser engraved into the wood. Following this, the wood gets sealed with 4 layers of marine grade exterior varnish to protect it against the harsh sun and weather.
You can have either one or two lines of text for the standard price. For a little extra you can have an third line of smaller text added – ideal for an established date. Another option is to add an image to either the left or the right of the text.
You can choose your piece of wood from the available options. Some pieces of wood has an A and B side to choose from, while others are not suitable for this. The Bloodwood pieces are about 75cm wide while the Ironbark pieces are about 65cm wide.
Please note that although these pieces are treated with the best quality external varnish available, any wood that is left in direct sun for long periods will degrade over time. To keep the sign looking good a yearly light sanding and one coat of external varnish is recommended.
Hanging of the sign is up to you, but is most commonly done by drilling holes at the top and hanging from a chain or screwing it into place.
You will receive a design layout for approval within 2 business days of your order and the sign will be completed within 4 business days after approval is received.
