Framed Wooden Family Sign

This beautiful Framed Wooden Family Sign is real statement pieces and will complement any space. There are 2 designs available as well as 2 colours and 2 font options for the family name.

There are several makers that offer wooden family signs, but these have a number of characteristics that make them stand out from the rest.

• Framed – These signs are framed with 18mm Tasmanian Oak that has been stained to give a beautiful contrasting frame.
• Backing material – The backing material for these are laminate flooring boards, which means that it has the beautiful wood grain at the top and is very hard wearing and will last a lifetime.
• Text – The text is cut from high quality 3mm acrylic (black or white) and expertly attached to the backing boards.
• Size – These signs are quite large. The total dimensions are roughly 63cm x 42cm. This allows it to fill a reasonable area of a wall but is not overly large.

Q – How do I hang the sign?

A – The sign comes standard with a saw tooth hanger installed (visible in the photos). This can be hooked onto a number of wall hooks, screws etc – not inlcuded. If you would like to install it in some other way and would prefer the saw tooth hanger omitted, please mention this in the notes section during checkout.

Q – Is the sign suitable for outdoors?

A – That depends. It is defintely suitable for hanging outdoors under cover or where it receives partial sun as all the materials are suitable for this. However, it is not suitable to be placed for extended periods of time in the direct elements,

Q – My family name is quite long. Will it fit?

A – I will adjust the size of the font to make it fit, but I do recommend that those with longer family names choose the “The Name Family” design as it has the family name by itself.
