The backing is either black matte acrylic or varnished Merbau timber.
For the top layer, a special metallic plastic (available in a range of colours) is used and the design is engraved into this. This material is highly durable and made specifically for exterior signage.
The optional standoffs are made from anodised aluminium, which is highly durable.

There are several size options available to choose from, and you can also choose from several ways to install the piece in your home.

Installation Options:

1. Standoffs – Anodised aluminium standoffs in black or silver, which can be used to attach the piece to brick walls, or timber. Screws and masonry plugs are included.
2. Double Sided Tape – High strength, exterior quality tape will be applied to the back. This tape is very sticky, and adheres well to brick. All that is required is to peel the backing off and stick it to your wall. Be warned – place it correctly, as removing it is very difficult.
3. Hanging Holes – Small holes will be cut in the top 2 corners, through which you can put string etc to hang it up.
4. Nothing – If you wish to attach the piece in some other way, you can choose this option. One option in this case is to use 3M Command Velcro Strips – an ideal option for those renting.
