Personalised BBQ Sign

Looking for a special Personalised Barbecue Sign for yourself, or for you husband/dad etc? Why not treat the grilling/barbecueing man in your life to something special for their birthday or Father’s day?

Now with a matte acrylic option as well. The matte version is not as shiny, but doesn’t show dirt as easy as the gloss finish does.

These 3D signs are different to your standard BBQ sign you find online. They are made from solid 19mm thick Red Oak wood and high quality acrylic with 3 areas to personalise. The wood is sanded smooth and then either stained with a choice of 3 stain colours or left with the natural colour. The wood is then sealed back and front with 2 coats of Danish oil to keep it protected. The stain, if chosen is only applied to the front and sides, not the back.

The acrylic top layer is in either black or white. The black acrylic goes with the unstained version, while the white acrylic goes with the stained options.

There are 3 areas that can be personalised.

1. The top area. This area is the most flexible. If you choose to have a longer message/statement cut out here, it will be done over 2 lines.
2. The Name area. This area is for the name of the person etc, but you can choose any text as long as it is short enough to fit. Limited to 10 characters maximum.
3. The established area. This is for you to put the date when the BBQ area was built, or choose another significant date. You could also choose other text here instead, but you are also limited to a maximum of 10 characters.

To hang the sign, you can either choose from a sawtooth hanger, which is included in the cost, or pay a little extra to have a keyhole hanger installed. The keyhole hanger allows a flusher and more secure installation.

These signs are made to last a lifetime and are weather resistant, but are not recommended to be installed in the direct elements. They can be installed outdoors, but I recommend them to be installed under some form of cover.

This product has a slightly longer production time (3 – 5 business days) than most products as the wood needs to acclimatise to prevent warping and the Danish oil takes a fair bit of time to dry between layers.
