Are you looking for a beautiful family sign for your farm, acreage or any other family home?
These solid wood sign are fully customisable and have 4 different images to choose from. You do not need to stick to the wording used here. For example, if you do not want an established date, note the wording you want instead. In this case, the white lines next to the text will be shortened or removed depending on the length of your text.
The sign is cut from 18mm Okume wood, which has been sanded, stained with a walnut stain and coated with 2 layers of Danish Oil. This gives it a beautiful look and will make it last a lifetime. Although these signs are very durable and can handle some sun and moisture, they should be installed under cover. They are not suitable to be installed in the direct elements.
The embelishments are cut from either high quality 3mm white acrylic, or 3mm white coated MDF and glued onto the wood. The final two images from the dog series are done with the MDF option. Please note that the MDF option is only suitable for indoor hanging.
Size: 60cm wide and 30cm high
To hang it, you can choose from 2 options:
- No hanging hardware. In this case I would recommend you use 3M Command Velcro Strips to attach it. This is ideal for a flush mount with no damage to the wall.
- With hanging hardware. In this case I will install a brass keyhole hanger which can be hooked onto a single screw.
Finally, you can also choose to have the edge simply sounded over, or have a double rounding (Roman Ogee) edge – see the final image for what this looks like.
